Thanks for joining me!
I’m here to talk about my version of the all too relatable adulting.
Since you’ll be following my journey it’s only fair you get to know a little more about me.
I’m a 24 year old from New Jersey. I’m an EMT which I love! It feels great to help someone on what’s probably their worst day if they’re calling for an ambulance.
I also work in a group home for developmentally disabled adults. Again I love this job. I truly love seeing people, who may have some difficulty with tasks other people find easy, become more independent in their goals.
Now I know you’re thinking UGH YOU WORK TWO JOBS? well yeah; I’ve got to pay the bills. Adulting isn’t easy.
Music, nature, and of course dogs make my days a little better when I have the time.
Now, I couldn’t this without the constant support from my parents reminding me that I can do it (because of course they’ve been through it). I’ve also got support from my amazing younger brother and sister who are both working just as hard serving our country in the navy.
Now that you’ve gotten to know me better, I’ll leave you with the quote below.
Until next time,
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
